As such, in furtherance of the constitutional right to privacy, it has implemented personal data protection procedures and policies. 1. IND makes every effort to protect the interests of data subjects and processes personal data in strict compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

a) Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR, i.e. where such processing is necessary for the performance of a contract, including an insurance brokerage agreement with a client or other contract entered into by IND under civil law;
b) Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR i.e. where such processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation, including the obligation to maintain a register of complaints and claims and other obligations under the Polish Act of December 15th 2017 on the Sale of Insurance Policies and;

• request from IND a copy of your personal data processed by IND or access to such data at IND’s registered office (under Article 15 of the GDPR);
• request rectification by IND of your personal data processed by IND (under Article 16 of the GDPR);
• request erasure by IND of your personal data processed by IND (“the right to be forgotten” under Article 17 of the GDPR);
• request that IND restrict the processing of your personal data (under Article 18 of the GDPR);
• where such processing is necessary for the performance of a contract – request that IND transmit your personal data in a commonly used format to another data controller as indicated by you (under Article 20 of the GDPR);
• where such processing is necessary for the purposes of handling correspondence, i.e. a legitimate interest pursued by IND – object to such processing (under Article 21 of the GDPR);

4. IND will fulfil your request within 30 days of its receipt and confirmation of your identity. In certain cases, the 30-day period may be extended by another 30 days, whereupon you will be notified of the extension and the reasons therefor.
5. IND may refuse to grant a request under an exception provided for in Articles 15–22 of the GDPR. If so, you will be notified of the refusal.
6. If you believe that IND processes your personal data unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection, i.e. Polish supervisory authority, at the address: Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland.
IND may also process personal data other than that received directly from data subjects, i.e. IND may process personal data it receives from other data controllers. In processing such data IND acts as a data processor.
When acting as a data processor, IND makes every effort to ensure that the cooperation between IND and the data controller with respect to personal data processing satisfies the requirements of Article 28 of the GDPR, including being governed by a dedicated data processing agreement.
